Food : Forte Kitchen

I love brunch,ย and I love trying new places so this was the perfect opportunity to try Forte Kitchen.

As my boyfriend and I don’t get to spend that much time together, when we do we always try and go out for breakfast/brunch. Our usual spot is Cafe Monde in Winchester, but on recommendation we decided to try somewhere new and went to Forte Kitchen.

It is located on Parchment Street, Winchester up a narrow and steep flight of stairs. Once you are up there you enter a room with enormously high ceilings, industrial looking light fittings and a huge fire place with tables scattered around the room. The place has a light and airy feel but still manages to feel cosy.

The staff are really friendly and cater to special requirements and alterations of the menu.ย It is reasonably priced and portions are a good size. Here is what I had:

I would recommend getting there early, each time we have been the queue has been out the door by the time we left at around 10/10.30am on a weekend.

I would highly recommend a trip to Forte Kitchen.
